They are made from 100% recycled crap sunglass frames from China - remolded and made into these pretty cool glasses. There is no reason to harvest more plastic or naturally degradable materials as long as surplus production can be bought up in China. This is their philosophy.

The glass is a hardened polycarbonate with UV protection and a delicious WARM/BROWN-RED tone.
