Payment

Jake's Apparel accepts the following payment methods: Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, Anyday, Maestrocard, and MobilePay. When you enter your card details on the website, they are sent directly via an encrypted connection to the payment gateway QuickPay. At QuickPay, the amount and card details are approved by Nets/Teller.

At no point does Jake's Apparel have access to view your card details. An amount corresponding to the value of your purchase in the webshop will be reserved. When the goods have been shipped from our warehouse, the amount will be charged to your payment card.

When paying with Anyday, we charge the first payment when the item is shipped. After that, you pay a monthly installment on the last business day of the next three months. This installment depends on your order total and payment plan. If you pay all installments on time, there is zero interest and no fees. Order confirmation and invoice

Once your order has been completed, you will receive an order confirmation/receipt by email. When the order has been packed and is on its way to being delivered, you will receive an email with a track & trace number so you can follow your parcel. If you have ordered delivery to a parcel shop, you will receive an email and an SMS when your parcel is ready for collection.

Please contact us immediately if you do not receive an order confirmation, as this may mean there is an error in the email address entered.

Delivery

We aim to send your parcel no later than the day after you place your order*.

Delivery has become more expensive in 2024, so unfortunately we have had to increase the price slightly compared to last year.

For destinations in Denmark, the parcel is usually delivered the day after it is shipped. For destinations in the EU, delivery takes 2-7 business days. Orders placed during the weekend and on public holidays are shipped the following business day. Delivery is handled by GLS, and all items are shipped from our own warehouse.

If, contrary to expectations, the ordered item is not in stock, we reserve the right to cancel the sale.

* During holiday periods, it may take up to 7 business days before the parcel is shipped. In that case, the delivery time will be clearly stated in the website's top banner.

Shipping prices

For destinations in Denmark (excluding Greenland and the Faroe Islands):

  • When you buy for more than 1000 DKK, shipping costs 0 DKK if the item is delivered to a GLS parcel shop or to your workplace. 76 DKK if the item is to be delivered to your home.

  • If you buy for less than 1000 DKK, it costs 42 DKK if the item is delivered to a GLS parcel shop. To your workplace 60 DKK, and if the item is to be delivered to your home, it is 76 DKK.

For destinations in the EU:

We deliver to most countries in the EU. The delivery price depends on the destination country and is calculated at checkout. The parcel will be delivered either to a parcel locker or home address - however, it is not possible to choose this yourself.

Security
Jakesapparel.dk uses a payment solution from QuickPay. All data relating to your payment is encrypted and sent via SSL to QuickPay. This means that only QuickPay can read your payment data.

All payments are secured with 3D Secure, which is a security protocol developed to protect cardholders online through additional security checks in connection with payment transactions.

Jakesapparel.dk complies with PBS/NETS' guidelines for online shopping, which means that you as a consumer are at least as well protected as when you pay with your payment card in a physical store. All other information in the communication between you and Jakesapparel.dk is not encrypted.

Right to complain
Jake's Apparel provides a 2-year right to complain in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act. Our right to complain applies to defects in materials and/or manufacturing. The complaint right does not apply to faults or damage caused by incorrect use of the product. If the complaint is justified, Jake's Apparel covers return costs to a reasonable extent.

If you regret your purchase, the item with original price tags must be returned to Jake's Apparel no later than 30 days after you have received the item.

If you have tried on the item as you would in a physical store, the above right of withdrawal naturally also applies. If the item shows visible signs of additional use or if the original price tags have been removed, we will make a specific assessment of what the item can be sold for to a third party. Any loss in value will be deducted from your refund.


Returns
You must pay the direct costs associated with returning the item yourself.Please remember that you are responsible for the parcel until we have received it.

If you live in Denmark, you can choose to use our parcel label. The label is prepaid, but we deduct 48 DKK from the amount to be refunded to you. You can get a parcel label here: Return portal link

If you fail to collect your item and it is returned to us, we will deduct the return costs from the amount to be refunded to you. For items from Denmark, the amount is 48 DKK. For international shipments, it is the applicable price from GLS.

If you do not wish to use our parcel label or if you live abroad, you must return the item to:

When returning an item, you are responsible for ensuring that it is properly packaged. You bear the risk for the item from the time of delivery until it has been returned to us. We therefore recommend that you send the parcel as a postal package and obtain proof of postage for the return parcel.

When we have received your item, we will refund the amount for the item as well as the original shipping costs. Please note that we only refund an amount corresponding to the cheapest shipping method. The money will be transferred to the card used to make the purchase. If desired, the money can also be transferred to a gift card. We usually transfer the money on the same day we receive the return parcel. However, during holiday periods, it may take a little longer.



Personal data

When you place an order on Jakesapparel.dk, we need your information in the form of name, address, phone number, and email address so that the order can be delivered to you and so that we can continuously provide you with updates on your order. All information that Jakesapparel.dk registers in order to process your order is treated confidentially and in accordance with the Personal Data Act. The information is not sold, disclosed, or otherwise transferred to third parties. In accordance with the Act on Processing of Personal Data, you have the right to access and request changes to or deletion of your personal information.

Jakesapparel.dk is hosted on American servers. According to new EU legislation, we must therefore inform you that your address information is sent to the USA when you shop on Jakesapparel.dk

Typos and sold-out items

Reservations are made for typographical errors, price increases, and sold-out items.

Complaints

If you experience problems in connection with purchases on Jakesapparel.dk and we cannot agree on a solution, it has been possible since 9 January 2016 to use a new website for online dispute resolution if you are resident in the EU. Find the website here: online dispute resolution
