Here is Samurai's most beautiful Western shirt. Yes, the Japanese excel at this Western style. In fact, it's quite exceptional. They put significantly more work into their clothes than much of what we're familiar with in the West.
They write:
A denim western shirt. The fabric is a Samurai original made from irregular #10 yarn, and it sports a tight and well-balanced silhouette. We’ve used cotton for the stitching and have added details like winding stitches, square dot buttons, and a nut cat eye button on the top. The yoke and pockets were designed with the image of Samurai flying stitches to represent the flying blade of a katana.
Runs small. The model in the picture is wearing an XL and is 180 cm tall. L is equivalent to a Danish Medium. They are a good length, though.
