The color here is deep black - but waxed, which gives the fabric a bit of texture with wear.

Made from the heaviest Shelter Series 14.75 oz. waxed cotton canvas on the outside, heavy-duty Talon® front zipper with entry and storm flap with snap button, and lined with our custom Klamath Flannel blanket-pattern lining. In a way, it seems we’ve checked all the boxes for this outer layer. It won’t be long before this jacket molds to your body and shows the marks of the adventures you put it through.      

This jacket does not come with motorcycle protection - but it is strong enough to take a crash. Just wear armor underneath and maybe size up.
